About
I know how profoundly work can affect people's lives because I've experienced it myself.
After 15 years working as a daily news reporter, the career I'd worked so hard to build had become a source of chronic stress, exhaustion and poor health.
What followed was one of the most difficult periods of my life, but it also became the catalyst for profound change.
With the support of people around me, and with the help of many of the approaches and strategies I now use in my own counselling work, I gradually rebuilt my physical and mental wellbeing.
Just as importantly, I built a new career that felt meaningful, authentic and sustainable.
That experience changed the way I think about work. I came to realise that our work is about far more than earning a living. It influences our wellbeing, our relationships, our confidence, and often our sense of who we are. And as we grow and change throughout our lives, there are times when our work needs to change too. Today, it is a privilege to support people who find themselves at these kinds of crossroads.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, stuck in work that no longer fits, or simply uncertain about what comes next, my role is to provide a calm, supportive space where you can make sense of where you are, reconnect with what matters most, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Alongside my own experience, I bring years of study, counselling practice and teaching to this work.
My background includes postgraduate training in counselling, extensive study in mindfulness, and more than a decade working in higher education, supporting people as they developed new skills, discovered new possibilities and prepared for the next stage of their working lives.
These experiences have shaped a practical, compassionate approach that helps people not only understand what they're experiencing, but also take meaningful steps towards healthier, more sustainable work.

I believe that every person has the capacity, and the right, to live a rich, meaningful and fulfilling life. I see my role as supporting people to achieve that, however it looks for them.
I believe people are the experts on their own lives. My role is to walk alongside them, offering a calm, supportive space where they feel heard and understood.
I work together with clients to help them make sense of what they're experiencing, reconnect with their strengths, and develop practical, evidence-based strategies to support them in achieving their goals.
